because my sister and i are such wonderful daughters, this year for christmas, we got daddy a tomtom gps navigation system and mommy a mac mini. on christmas morning, i retrieved the presents from the piano bench (which served as our tree this year because we didn't have a tree). the piano was decorated with the christmas cards we got from other ppl like our usual tree would have been.... newaiz. mommy goes first and opens her mouse. she goes...haha cute! thanks. then opens the keyboard. "whatttt?? what is all this? i want a computer.." daddy says, "goom doh yamuhjuh" which basically means, keep dreaming..aka it's not gonna happen. PUHAHAHA then, momma opens her mac mini.. yayy!! then, daddy opens his tomtom and is very happy ^^. mission accomplished. or so it would seem...
as it is christmas morning, we have to go to church. and we are late cuz i'm showing daddy how to use/set up his tomtom. mommy is mad that we are late for church and that daddy is still playing with his tomtom. in fact, on the way to church, he used the tomtom to test how good it is (see if it told him to go the way he likes to go to church)...i think it met his standards because he seems pleased with it...except how you're supposed to put it on your window. instead of suctioning it onto the windshield like he's supposed to, he makes momma hold it for him at the perfect angle while he drives...momma was not very pleased..
later, as we are setting up the mac mini, mommy is very upset because she discovers that her korean dramas are not supported by the mac mini. she gets all testy and angry to the point where i re-set up her old computer and move the mac mini to her room where there is a nice, big moniter so it is now our new dvd player....yayy for mac mini --> dvd player/email checker.
tomtom update story:
we are on our way to church and the tomtom is some lady's voice. daddy decides he doesnt like it, so he goes, "i dont like this voice! stupid voice...jiyun! change this voice" so i play him the other voices available and let him pick. he, of course, decides that the lady voice he didnt like is, in fact, the one he likes best. then momma (still grumpy that we're late for church) shouts at him, "i told you!!! why do you never listen??? the default is always the best one!!! stop messing with it and driveee"
the camera seems to be m.i.a, so pictures of the christmas piano and wonderful decorations of the house are still on hold..
